Heidelberg Bakery will provide baked goods again.

Please remember to attend Scouting for Food this weekend. We need lots of hands this weekend for bag pickup. We also need folks for the afternoon. We need everyone to turn out! We hope to beat our previous record of 5,500 lbs of food for the needy.

Quick reminders:
1. Bring back your maps from last week with any special notations. We'll have new maps too, if you need them.
2. Bring back any unused bags
3. Bring a rain jacket. It looks like it might sprinkle on and off on Saturday
4. Bring a van or SUV for picking up the food
5. Please don't park in the Scout House parking lot, as we need room for the trailer

Timeline for Saturday is below:

Schedule for Saturday, Nov 8:

8:30am Meet at Scout House (Do not park in scout house parking lot.) Beverages and Doughnuts Pick up extra bags, if you need any
8:40am Safety Briefing
8:45am Safety Skit
8:50am Depart Scout House to pick up food.

o You will need at least one vehicle to accompany you.
o Once you have collected all food from your area, return to the Scout House and unload into the trailer
o Grab Lunch

(Times below are approximate)
12:30pm Trailer will depart Scout House for weighing and then to Knox Presbyterian Church
12:45pm Trailer arrives at Knox Presbyterian Church and unloading begins
1:45pm Depart Knox Presbyterian Churcho We need lots of helpers for unloading at Knox Presbyterian Church.
o We usually form a human chain and pass the bags from person to person from the trailer into the food bank. It’s a lot of fun – don’t miss it!
