Thanks to all for who helped with Scouting for Food over the past few weeks. Thanks to your efforts, we were able to provide over half ofthe food to be distributed by the Knox foodbank for the next year! The folks at Knox were very pleased with our help, since theirdonations have been down recently.
There was some confusion yesteday about whether we broke the record or not. Here's the facts - our record was 5,500 pounds. We came veryclose yesterday with 5,400 pounds. We did surpass the 2.5 ton number, which is great news! We will most definitely be one of the highestvolume units in the National Capital Area.
Special thanks to John Handley who has been our map man for the past few years. This was his last Scouting for Food with the pack.
