The air is getting cool, the leaves are starting to change…it must be that time of year again…for Scouting for Food!
Save the Dates: Nov 1 and Nov 8 – Scouting for Food
Scouting for Food is the primary service project for Pack 681 each and every year. Last year, Pack 681, together with Pack 661 and Troop 681, collected over 5,500 pounds of food for the needy. I know we can do even better this year!
This food goes directly to families in Fairfax County that are in need of emergency food assistance. By participating, you are making a difference in your community! "For I was hungry and you gave me food," Matthew 25:35
We need everyone to turn out! Please save the following dates: Saturday, Nov 1 (Bag drop off) and Saturday, Nov 8 (Bag pick up). We'll meet at the Scout House at 8:30am on both days. Breakfast will be provided, courtesy of Heidelberg Bakery.
