The Potomac Bassmasters of Virginia will host a Kids Fishing Derby from 8:00 AM to Noon on Sunday, June 7th at Burke Lake Park! See the link below for details on this event. (see photos of last year’s derby)http://www.potomacbassmasters.com/childrens.htm
All Scouts and siblings are welcome to fish in this exciting event. This will be a weekend not to miss! All Cub Scout camping trips follow a "family camping" format. All family members are welcome to attend. Sorry, no pets are allowed. Each family brings their own tent and gear. Each scout must have at least one parent or guardian with them on the trip. Dens are encouraged to plan their meals together and eat together. Cub Scouts are not allowed to handle fire, matches, lighters, knives, axes, hatchets or saws. Parents, please handle these items for your scout if they are needed.
